My Turbostick was an essential part of my outdoor kit; sadly it got lost on an expedition earlier this year. It lit hexamine in only a second or so, far more reliably than army issue matches. It frequently got borrowed on exercise and I often had a struggle to get it back. It was very useful at firework displays for lighting portfires; when you have an audience of a thousand or two you don\'t want to struggle with matches! At home it lit wood fires, barbecues not to mention candles and larger blowtorches. It was also very handy for small scale sodering. As soon as I can find a stockist I\'ll buy another!
